Important vehicle restriction
When visiting the Motor Museum, buses larger than a ‘21 seater’ as well as motorcycles are not permitted on L’Ormarins Estate. Large buses & motorcycle parking is available at Anthonij Rupert Estate, where a complimentary shuttle is taken to the Motor Museum.
(Motorcycle restriction due to horses on the farm and bus restriction due to low trees in the road leading to the museum.)
When making your booking, please indicate if you will be parking at the Anthonij Rupert Estate so we can make sure there is a tram available to transport you.

Directions from Cape Town
From the N1, take exit 47 to Stellenbosch / Klapmuts / Wellington. At the end of the off-ramp, turn right on to the R44. After ± 700m you reach a 4-way stop. Go straight across. Approx. 300m on, turn left to Franschhoek (R45). After approx. 10km you will come to a T-junction. Turn right at T-junction (R45). This road leads to Franschhoek. L’Ormarins is on your right, ± 3km past the Stellenbosch / Helshoogte turn-off.
