05 Dec FMM at the V&A Waterfront Motor Show

On Saturday November 30, FMM took part in the annual V&A Waterfront Motor Show, displaying four vehicles: 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, 1955 Studebaker President, 1961 Aston Martin DB4 GT, 1964 Ford Mustero and 1972 Alfa Romeo Montreal.

The FMM team of Lorenzo, Sian, Donnie, Wenstley, Michael and one of our students, Leighton, spent the day at the Cape Town V&A  just in front the Zeitz MOCCA museum chatting with car enthusiasts. It was a fantastic day and very busy day with huge crowds being drawn to the assembled classic cars. FMM was proud to win best restoration on show with the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. Many thanks go to the workshop’s Michael Van Graan who put a lot of work into the aesthetics of the vehicle.

Our convoy also provided considerable enjoyment as the classics made their way to and from Franschhoek and the V&A.
